Terminal Tracks – Requirements for Buffer Stops, Arresting Devices and End Impact Walls The principle change has been the withdrawal of measures relating to the inspection and maintenance of buffer stops and arresting devices. The requirements have also been clarified to make it explicit that all terminal tracks must be provided with a buffer stop or areresting device and the opportunity has been taken to incorporate a non-mandatory appendix giviging advice on the provision of end impact walls. In addition, and partly to more closely reflect the revised contents of the document, the title been changed. |
