  GE/RT8000/TW1 Issue 8 October 2008 8 TW1 - Preparation and movement of trains: General
Rule Book module GE/RT8000/TW1 sets out the requirements for train crew, signallers and other associated staff involved in the general day to day operations in the preparation and movement of trains. Issue 8 contains new instructions on hauling dead traction units, running brake tests, passenger communication apparatus and authority for permissive working. Full details of changes to module TW1 can be found in the Rule Book briefing leaflet for changes coming into force in December 2008.

Rule Book module TW2 sets out the requirements for train crew, signallers and other associated staff involved with the day preparation and operation of multiple-unit passenger trains. The reissue of module TW2 features changes regarding defective slam and power operated doors.


  GE/RT8000/TW3 November 2004 2 TW3 - Preparation and movement of locomotive-hauled trains (including HSTs, push-pull, postal, parcels)
Rule Book module GE/RT8000/TW3 sets out the requirements for train crew and relevant train operating staff, operations controllers and signallers involved with the preparation and movement of locomotive-hauled trains.


  GE/RT8000/TW5 Issue 3 April 2008 3 TW5 - Preparation and movement of trains. Defective or isolated vehicles or on-train equipment
Rule Book module GE/RT8000/TW5 sets out the requirements for staff dealling with the effects and related actions associated with defective or isolated on-train equipment. Issue 3 contains new instruction as a result of changes to requirements contained in GO/RT3437, Defective on-train equipment.

  GE/RT8000/TW6 Issue 2 April 2008 2 TW6 - Working single lines with or without a train staff or token
Rule Book module GE/RT8000/TW6 sets out the requirements for drivers who work over lines signalled by the following systems: one-train working where a train staff is provided, one-train working where a train staff is not provided, electric token or no signaller token.


  GE/RT8000/TW7 Issue 2 April 2008 2 TW7 - Wrong-direction movements
Rule Book module GE/RT8000/TW7 sets out the requirements for signaller and drivers when train movements have to travel in the wrong direction. Issue 2 contains amendments previously in module AM (amendments AM1/78, AM3/25, AM5/32, AM5/33 and AM5/33). There are also new instructions on propelling


  GE/RT8000/TW8 Issue 4 April 2008 4 TW8 - Level Crossings
Rule Book module GE/RT8000/TW8 sets out the requirements for train crew and level crossing attendants involved in the operation and use of level crossings. Issue 4 now only contains instructions for train crew and level crossing attendants. Signallers instructions on level crossings have been transferred to new module - TS9.
